Others say this is thin - it is but it’s rubber backed and not designed to be thick shag pile. It’s soft underfoot - with a nap like velvet which marks in one direction versus the other but that’s not an issue to me - if you want a thick shag like rug this is not for you - it doesn’t slip being ‘rubber ‘ backed and is perfectly functional -in photo you can see the bit I’ve hoovered over versus the other but still to be hoovered - note this says anthracite - I call it dark silver / grey but that’s a personal thing - I thought it might be darker . Plus it wipes up clean
