Mcavoy Abstract Area Rug

Not as pictured on website. Very disappointed. Thought I would like this very much because it looks very beautiful on the website and I wanted to like it. It is very colorful and will add color nicely to a room, depending on other colors of your room and decor, but it is not low pile, soft, plush texture as it appears on website. In reality looks and feels very cheap and outdated style like one of those old-style carpets with line weaving method that creates parallel weaving line patterns all through the carpet and colors which creates a different appearance to the flow of colors unlike an evenly soft, plush, low pile carpet as shown on the website picture. The texture feels like one of those carpets that become stiffer over time, like a cheap carpet, and it's not soft and plush. To me definitely not worth the cost. Also, the orange colors shows more than it appears on website and barely any gray. Not much blue, mainly the pinkish-red, fuschia, and orange colors stand out. This was the 4 × 5.7. Returned.

We love the colors on this rug and the fun winter look it gave our house.

I am in love with this rug. Contrary to other rugs purchased from this site whose colors are more muted in person than the website depicts, the online photos are quite true. One thing to note is that there is some repeated striping in the pattern that I hadn’t noticed in the photos at first but if you look closely you’ll see it. Because I love the rug so much, the lines weren’t a dealbreaker. I ordered a big one so stability isn’t an issue but a pad underneath would give it more cushion.

What arrived was NOT WOOL - 100% polypropylene, and not even the same brand. False advertising.

This rug is really sharp with beautiful colors. It looks and feels great
