About This Product

What’s old is new again in this vintage collection of rugs inspired by the trend of recycling old carpets and over-dyeing them in brilliant colors to camouflage stains and flaws. Each rug is power loomed in Belgium and 100% viscose yarn in a low-cut pile to recreate the threadbare appearance of worn vintage carpets. The yarns are deliberately dyed unevenly to add old-world character to the collection’s classic Persian and Turkish designs.

Rug Size:Runner 2'2" x 8'

Before buying the rug I queried Wayfair as to the color tones: were they more of a light Sky blue or Teal blue?... But they were not able to answer adequately (as understandably, items come from various vendors and Wayfair Customer Service can only rely on what their Vendors tell them) ... So I ordered a small rug (as basically a color sample). As a former Designer I will attest to the background being more of a (lightish) Teal Blue and defiantly NOT a light powder Sky Blue. That said, it's a very lovely rug, especially for the price...athough not sure if I'm going to order the 8 x 10
