Kimber Ikat Viscose Area Rug

The colours of this rug and detailing of the piles makes for a striking effect. It is soft to the touch and a lovely addition to our guest bedroom.

Very happy with this rug. The colors are gently muted and pleasant to live with. The upper texture is extra soft with a sturdy canvas backing. The only issue I've had is that the corners have taken a long time to relax from the rolled up delivery, so I've had to weight the corners periodically so that nobody trips. I think I could have hastened the relaxing with some moisture, though. This carpet has a thin profile. Pros: Very soft to the touch

I purchased the rug a couple months ago. Having had time to really look at it, I have decided it is not my favorite. Although the rug is very forgiving for spills and works well in a high-traffic area, the colors are too muted and washed out especially when looking at it from different angles. I'll likely be replacing the rug with a rug with more vibrant color and pile height.
