Easy to install. Latch for nesting box is 2 different pieces, not the correct set, so it doesn’t line up. Missing a couple screws but easy to replace. Overall not a bad starter coop!

My coop showed up with broken and mis-aligned parts. I have to make the fixes on it myself as wayfair won’t handle free returns or money back anymore. They have the manufacturer contact you and negotiate. After a lot of back and forth they only gave me ideas on how fix the parts and a partial refund. The ramp was coming apart with the tar exposed, the door was chipped, pieces were misaligned, and the frame bent. Besides the fact that it feels like styrofoam. Trust me not to buy this one!!

I purchased this coop to use inside my larger run as a "chicken hospital" for injured, sick, or broody hens. I do NOT recommend this product for use as a full time coop, and it definitely needs to be weatherproofed first. For the price, I expected as much. The description says "predator proof", which is in no way accurate. The 4.2 star review must have been from a completely different item (tiered planter), as shown in some of the customer review photos. Also, the coop I received is not the one pictured. The product in the online photo has wire mesh on the side beneath the nesting boxes, the one I received has solid panels. Two of the dowels that connect those panels did not match up to the holes so I had to remove them. There were broken pieces, missing parts, and only one side of the roof opens. The handle that allows you to slide the roost/nesting box door open from the outside did not fit with this particular coop, so it was unusable and had to be left out. The instructions did not match up with the parts I received. Possibly because it was the wrong coop? Still reviewing because it appears to be the same brand, made of the same material, and a similar configuration. If I had enough time I would have returned it and bought a different one but I have a hen on antibiotics that I needed out of my main coop ASAP. For now it is serving it's purpose, though I am not sure how long it will last.

Perfect for my 3-free range hens. Purchased this for my 3-hens that hang with my free range rooster. I already have a custom coop for my flock, but found myself in need of something on a smaller scale for these 4 (roosters decided they now hate each other after 3 years of living together ♀️). This little coop was perfect. It’s set up in my barn in any empty horse stall. It went together fairly easily. It took me 2-12 hours by myself. Would have gone much quicker with a helper. The only thing I changed was one of the side doors. This coop didn’t have enough ventilation. I retrofitted the door by adding chicken wire to the inside so that I can leave the door open on hot nights. I should have done it before I put the coop together. All in all it was perfect for what I needed.

Much bigger than expected! We are going to weather treat the wood but it is absolutely perfect for my chicks! The inside closes off and I can let my free range hen lay eggs during the day and still use the coop for the other babies I have!
