The pictures are extremely misleading. The pergola shown in the advertisement has individually retractable sides that can be moved up and down, but the product that arrived is nothing like what was advertised. After waiting five weeks for delivery, I genuinely wish I had never bought it. The quality is very poor and it looks cheaply made. The side panels are supposed to be retractable individually, but the rods provided are too short, making them difficult to use properly. To make matters worse, parts of the sides are held together with string, which is completely unacceptable for a product at this price. The end caps for the side rods do not fit correctly and constantly fall off, which only adds to the feeling that this product was poorly designed and manufactured. Overall, it is flimsy, disappointing, and nowhere near the standard shown in the photos. I could have spent my money on something far better. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this product unless you want the same disappointment. Bought via B&Q
