The sofa itself is very nice, with a stylish design. However, the sofa bed section tends to slide forward when you sit and lean against the back cushion, which is a minor flaw in the design. My main complaint is with the delivery service, which was extremely disorganised. I was given three different delivery dates that kept changing. After speaking with an agent, I was told the item was being shipped from Europe and would arrive in the UK within five days. Yet that same evening, I received a text saying delivery was scheduled for the next day—less than 24 hours’ notice, leaving me unable to reschedule. As a result, I had to rearrange my work three times and eventually call in sick, causing a loss of earnings due to the poor planning. When the delivery finally arrived, it was late and the drivers refused to bring the sofa inside. One insisted it wouldn’t fit through my door, another told me to return it, and yet another suggested dismantling it and finding five people to carry it upstairs. Instead of helping, they left the sofa outside and it started raining. I couldn’t close my front door until my partner returned home at 8:30pm. Despite their claims, I managed to bring one part of the sofa in myself, and later, with my partner, we successfully carried the larger section inside—proving it did fit after all. The entire process was handled with laziness and a complete lack of consideration. Having spent around £2,300 with Wayfair, this was by far the most unprofessional experience I’ve had. I even have recordings of the incident as evidence.
