Based on looks, the lamp is very elegant and looks great in a living room space, nicely shaped with easily accessible switch on the top. The base isn't solid, it's a brass cover over the weight rather than being one piece which was slightly disappointing, this also means it is not as stable as expected, it wobbles when touched.
