I searched the net for a replacement light fitting for an aging wooden unit that was now unsafe. I tried all the high profile places without success. One more general search threw up Wayfair, which I have never used before. There I found exactly what I was looking for and it happened to be in their sale. I’m careful when using new places to buy from but PayPal was available as a payment method, the deliver charge and time were excellent so I bought the fitting and booked an electrician. The package arrived on time and was exactly as described on the website and has now been fitted. My wife and are very pleased with it, we are both 88 years old and it was important that the unit looked good in our older house, it looks great. I subsequently learned that Wayfair has an Irish base, it set me thinking of home. Thanks for the excellent service, the website is great too, brief factual information clearly displayed. You made need a different junction box though if you’ve multiple neutral and earth wires coming out of your ceiling like I do!
