The lamp was exactly as described. Good length of clear lead with an inline switch.

Base significantly lighter than the picture suggests but looks like it could be sanded and stainedwaxed. Bulb sits a little wonky but nothing serious.

Unfortunately this table lamp looks very different in reality. I was expecting a dark base (as it appears online) but in reality ia a very pale varnished wood. I'm sure it is well made but just be mindful when buying of the actual colour. It wasn't worth the return delivery costs and so I have kept it and intend to sand it down and stain it a darker colour.
