This is a good lamp as either a desk or reading bedside lamp. It gives off a very bright light using the recommended bulbs, maybe a bit too bright as a gentle bedside lamp but good for reading. A major disadvantage is that the on/off switch is on the cable/lead and it is awkward to reach - much better if it had been on the lamp itself. But the lamp looks attractive and the glass shade is better than metal or fabric. The bulbs were not availabe from this supplier (I asked) and I had to get them elsewhere.

Lamp is great for bedside reading.Gives off a lovely light. Elegant and stylish. Swift delivery, well packed. I would use Wayfair again.
