39 cm H Bell Silk Lamp Shade ( Screw On ) in Cream

The lampshade replaced one that was really old and starting to split. I was very sorry it had to go but this one is just perfect. Let's in lots of light and looks stylish.

Height was not 39cm for OV19 silk bell lampshade - it was 33.5cm height. Then it also came without a fitter in the box. I complained but Wayfair sent me an identical Ophelia lampshade 33.5cm in height. At that point I just gave up and have a lampshade which is not in proportion to the large base. It looks a bit stupid. A thin cheap Chinese silk is used for manufacture of the shade. This means the bulb shows through and so the diffused lighting effect I wanted is lacking. Ideally the shade should be lined to look sophisticated. The shade shape is good and it looks good in the catalogue photograph but disappointing in reality.

Lovely quality and at a fair price

Nice lamp shade, sits well, silky shiny fabric. Nice glow when lamp on.

Nice Shade even came with gimble (shade carrier) which I was not expecting. Quick delivery too.
