Verrett Outdoor Hanging Lantern

Very nice light and excellent quality for the price

Very pleased excellent light for a porch. Gives enough light and also looks very expensive at budget price.

I looked at many lanterns on various websites before deciding on buying the Verrett 1 Outdoor Hanging Lantern by Marlow Home. According to Wayfairs description this lantern was constructed of solid brass and therefore I thought the asking price of £81.99 to be reasonable. Being advertised as solid brass I thought that this lantern would be long lasting and corrosion free! Imagine my disappointment when 4 days later the lantern was delivered, I found I had been sent an Elstead Wexford lantern made of painted aluminium with a steel hanging chain which I could have bought from numerous websites for about £50. I fitted the lantern and in fairness it looks ok! I did not return it as the cost of the return postage would have left me out of pocket! This whole experience has made me feel cheated by Wayfair and I certainly won't be ordering anything else from them. I would recommend any of my friends and family to use them either! One more thing the picture of their Verrett 1 Outdoor Hanging Lantern by Marlow Home is actually an Elstead Wexford! Be warned!!!
