My optician suggested a floor lamp behind my chair to make reading easier so I checked Wayfair and sure enough came up with this lamp. It has a lovely soft light and compliments my other lamp on the coffee table. It is easily adjustable and I've found the perfect height. The on/off switch is on the cable so is easy to reach, no need to find a switch on the base. I feel I've always had this lovely lamp behind me - it's perfect.
