Sputnik 20cm H Shell / Capiz Novelty Pendant Shade ( Screw On )

The box this came in arrived partly crumpled, indicating it wasn't strong enough for the transport task. The shade was cushioned in a couple of sheets of newspaper and fortunately was not damaged. When removed from the bag, it was immediately noticeable that the 'shell' material was not pristine and appeared to have dirt on it, which isn't the case; the specks are part of the material. Also, the supporting structure is fine and can easily be bent, the wire can be snapped if manipulated too much. So be careful when raising the top petals (which were right down on the body of the shade when it arrived), I was only game to straighten them out, not up as in the sales picture. Overall, it's an OK shade for a 4th bedroom, it's not one I would want to feature in a hall or living room.
