The dimmer technology controls the brightness via the switching impulse and thus the lamp can be dimmed continuously from 100% down to 10% of the light intensity. If the lamp is switched on again less than 3 seconds after being switched off, the dimming process starts. When the brightest (100%) or darkest value (10%) is reached, it remains at this setting for approx. 2 seconds to start the process again. If the light is illuminated in the desired brightness during a process, the light intensity can be saved by switching the light off. When the light is switched on again, the light shines in the stored brightness and this setting is retained.
