Disappointed with the quality and size of lantern …. Fixings were poor quality… the glass was very hard to fit so not really cut to size! I just don’t think the lantern was value for money and I purchased at sale price!….

Lovely style and quality, however the antique brass finish looks a bit false so I removed the varnish and polished it back to the bare brass , looked so much better . the clips for the glass were not enough to hold the base glass so I ended up adding adhesive . The lamp is shallow so won't take a standard, only a handle bulb, and these with large screw seem only available at electrical store.

Well made. There were no clear instructions and the hinge pin should be pulled upwards in order to fit the glass once the light has been sited
