I was looking for a unique island light fixture that would still give off light more akin to a spotlight and I feel like this one *nearly* accomplished that for me. My favorite feature is being able to control the light temperature and brightness to accommodate different needs. I also loved being able to easily adjust the height of the lights, although getting everything level was a bit finicky. I found the installation process to be pretty standard, though I have experience doing these types of projects regularly. The directions were bare bones so if you’re not very confident in installing one of these correctly with little direction then it would hire a professional. The directions could be fleshed out a bit more, especially when it comes to operating the remote control, which has way more buttons than are necessary, i think (I don’t even know what a few of them do). All in all this is a solid purchase, something different from a typical pendant or chandelier island light with some nice additional features.
