These are very nice shades but the description states that they fit both pendants and lamp bases which is incorrect. This particular shade is for a pendant only as the fitting inside is fixed and does not move. I have queried this and have been advised that I can have them collected and get a refund as I specifically bought these for dual purposes. As they are rather expensive, I am disappointed that the description is incorrect and probably would not have bought them in the first place however, the actual shades are unique and are of a good quality.
