This is a very nice knife holder! It is high quality and solid. I ordered it because I was storing knives in my drawer and keeping the blades covered with old paper towel rolls. I saw that this provided horizontal storage and would fit in my drawer. It is a butcher block so it is heavy. I have sturdy dovetail drawers so the weight is not an issue. If your drawers are more flimsy, the weight may be. I love the look and organization this storage holder provides.
