The Rockingham Forge Knife Sharpener is a must-have tool for keeping your kitchen knives in top shape. This innovative sharpener features four interchangeable disks with various grit types, including coarse, medium, fine, and super fine, allowing you to achieve the perfect edge for any blade. The magnetic support ensures a consistent angle, while the diamond sharpening disk removes the need for soaking a whetstone. This sharpener is compatible with Rockingham Forge sharpening and honing disks and is ideal for a wide range of knives, including hunting knives, cleavers, European blades, and Japanese blades. With its durable stainless-steel construction, this sharpener is built to last and is easy to use, even for those without prior sharpening experience. The Rockingham Forge Knife Sharpener is a perfect addition to any kitchen, ensuring your knives are always ready for use.

If blades lose their sharpness over time, use the ceramic sharpening steel. Knives and scissor blades can be sharpened on the steel in no time. The ceramic steel sharpens gently, so it protects the knife’s edge. This knife sharpener is a reliable, quite shock sensitive accessory for the kitchen.

Rockingham Forge’s new SUPERSHARP professional sharpening whetstones will give you blades which are sharper, safer and easier to use than ever before. Available in single or combination stones with varying degrees of grit and coarseness, it’s time to embrace the number one recognised method of sharpening! The grit size or coarseness of a sharpening whetstone is indicated by numbers. The higher the number or GRIT, the finer the stone, the less steel it will cut through and the better it will polish the edge to a sharp bite. 240-1000 grit are coarse blocks, cutting steel more quickly and therefore best for damaged, chipped, rusty or blunt knives. 3000-8000 grit are honing or polishing stones, used to refine the edge of the blade, removing scratches and burr left from coarser stones and giving the blade a shiny, mirror finish. When using the whetstone, continue applying water whilst sharpening, making sure the stone remains wet. The water will react with particles in the stone to form an abrasive substance which enables the sharpening process.

This sharpening stone features a two piece precision sharpening 400/1000 combination grit for enhanced performance. The firm but porous structure of the stone continuously releases small particles during the sharpening process that when combined with water are responsible for sharpening the knife blade. Features a non-slip base stand that ensures the stone stays stable while in use.
This whetstone is guaranteed for 5 years, I know folk thinks it is just for knives but actually anything with a blade could be sharpened with the stone. Its for a friend for Christmas, much safer than the angle grinder.. Janice. Ryhill Wakefield, GB. Fri Sep 10 2021

Rockingham Forge Ceramic Whetstones are an extensive range of knife sharpening tools, also known as waterstones, which will restore your blunt kitchen knives or hone already sharp edges in no time. This range is designed from ceramic rather than the conventional corundum used in other whetstone types, as it is longer lasting, more effective and much cleaner to use. These stones are much harder than the traditional whetstones, so they wear a lot slower.

This manual knife sharpener utilizes a 'pull through' method to make the short work of honing your kitchen knives. The ceramic sharpening groove is extremely durable and hard-wearing and will provide the best results for your knives, time after time.
I did not receive a full order, just ceramic sharpening wheels with no case . The photo shows what arrived with no case. The purchase was made and no item received after 2 weeks, I contacted wayfair and they said it had not been sent and would resend. However a spare set of sharpening wheels is not what I paid for. I paid for a complete sharpening kit. I’m shocked at such poor and neglectful service. Caroline. Paignton, GB. Fri May 19 2023

If you’re looking for a quick, efficient and reliable way to sharpen your favourite knives, look no further. Grunwerg’s Rockingham Forge range of pull-through sharpening accessories has something for everyone, from manual to electric sharpeners that can be used in the home or in a workplace. Once you have invested in a quality set of knives, you want to make them last as long as possible. If you have invested in a set of our premium knives, a lot of people assume that if they are made with quality material, they can take care of themselves. This is not the case. Pull-Through Sharpeners: With either bands or wheels made from the sharpening material. These are the simplest to use, as the knife needs to be purely run backwards and forwards, provided the sharpener is set at the right angle. Cleaning: We advise that you clean your knives with warm soapy water. A lot of people do put their knives in the dishwasher, but we will never encourage this. The reason for is because dishwasher detergent is very abrasive, and along with the banging around that happens during a wash cycle, will take the sharp edge right off your knife. (Plus, it's not safe for the person unloading the dishwasher).
