Great knives and a great value. Both the paring and chef knife hold their edge for a long time. I would have given five stars but it seems the manufacturer has changed the overall weight of the chef knife compared to the Four Star line I used in a previous life when I worked in the restaurant industry. The overall thickness of the blade and girth of the tange are lighter weight when compared to my other Four Star knives that are 30 plus years older. Still a great set of knives though and highly recommend them.
