This item is a defect designed product. The tri-ply construction can be seen on the brim of the pot. Which means the middle aluminum layer exposing outside. So, the pot is not suitable for dishwasher washing accordingly. I was seeking for returning the product but not get the return package yet.

Ill already purchase the tope with the lid of the same brand. I love it so I ordered the saucepan I love the mirror finishing the tope also mirror finishing Definitely the best brand no doubt

I got this in the 1.5 qt. size and you can see what a standard 15.5 oz can of food looks like in there for scale. I've had this 3 years now and can say Tramontina's tri-ply is really good quality. I'm not sure why they don't seem to get as much attention as brands like Calphalon, but they should. I also have a Tramontina 8" tri-ply skillet and it performs really well, too. The small size is great for little jobs, handle never gets hot, all-metal lid is very sturdy.... definitely recommend!
