Finally plucked up courage to make my 1st Beef Stew! Beef chunks, celery, carrots, spuds, onion and a little garlic, with a simple stock cube (my first attempt remember) and 6 hours later out came a seriously tasty meal, combined with homemade bread and was in heaven for rest of the day! Can completely recommend for consistant results, and its power consumption is a bonus.

Bought me as a present, but apparently excellent results

Lovely slow cooker, efficient and cooks perfectly. Good capacity for feeding a crowd or batch cooking. Only minor problem was I had to reorganise the kitchen cupboard to fit it in! Very pleased with the appliance.

It is a big family size cooker but even for a smaller family it's a economical way to cook..I put different things in roast bags and tie the top, cooking puddings and savoury at the same time and it's big enough for a leg of lamb. I also have a 1.5 litre for when it's just two of us or a pint of rice pudding..

I had this item sent to my daughter as I have had the same item for a long time. She is very happy with it. II now need to replace mine as one handle has now broken.
