The butter knives don't quite fit but I've been looking for something that can hold more forks and spoons than those little expandable dividers. So new problem but in my opinion better than having fork overflow.

I made this purchase for my dining table, as we use it everyday. It makes meal time so much easier as I am usually the one jumping up and down for things forgotten during a meal. There are 4 generous slots for knives, forks, and spoons. I use the 4th slot for salt and pepper shakers, and toothpick holders. It is well made and sturdy. Very happy with this purchase. Very reasonable price and sturdy. The 4th slot could also be used for folded napkins.
