The Kitchenaid Edge Beater works fabulous on large cake batters. I only had the scrape the bowl down twice because it mixes so well. ~Shenise S.~

This beater works very well at scraping the sides of my 5 quart glass bowl. Ive only used it for cake and waffle batter, so I can not attest to how well it does with cookie dough.

Buy this!!!! Really, you won't be disappointed. This scrapes the bowl, so you don't have to keep stopping to scrape with your spatula. Works great for all your baking mixing needs. The dough attachment makes it so much easier to make dough for pizza or bread. This machine is very powerful and does take a bit of time to fully learn how to use.
