I bought this because I wanted to make bread, I have arthritis in my hands so it was difficult. I had seen lots of cooks using this machine and getting good results so thought i would give it ago. This machine is a game changer. I previously had and still do a Kenwood chef premium for cakes etc it was brilliant but it just didn’t do it when making bread. Since I’ve had the Kitchen aid I haven’t had one bad loaf, they have been perfect every time. I haven’t tried cakes or butter yet but I’m sure it will be perfect for those too. I would recommend this to anyone if you want consistently good results.

We have used only Kenwood for many years my wife is a cake artist and has 3. Our Kenwood major failed and I bought my wife this as a replacement. I was concerned as the motor power was less than a third of the Kenwood but as it turned out this was not a problem, It is certainly a better looking mixer but also much quieter with a more solid feel, I was expecting my wife to say it was not as good as her previous one, however she sung its praises first few mixes are perfect with the planetary action being very thorough. I think she is converted

My first experience of a large stand mixer, purchased as i make all my own bread and usually use my thermomix for kneading. I was a little afraid I might burn the motor out, so chose this mighty stand mixer.
