KitchenAid Artisan 6.6L Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my new machine for just a few days, and so far i love it. My first experience of a large stand mixer, purchased as i make all my own bread and usually use my thermomix for kneading. I was a little afraid I might burn the motor out, so chose this mighty stand mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s absolutely gorgeous, perfect for cakes, cookies and buttercreams, but the mixer struggles with bread dough, it gets overheated and for the price I was expecting more resistant

Upgrade from the artisan mixer I had, as I am making sourdough bread and needed a bigger mixer. This has been a great purchase and even got it at a reduced price.

It stopped working with in the week after buying. It stopped mid cycle. I googled and learned that it might be auto stop due to overheating and I should give it one hour rest before using it again. I tried it didn’t work and then I waited whole day before plugging it . Guess it still wasn’t working. I was not doing any heavy work or big batches on that machine. Only use 3 times on 1/2 speed. I am really disappointed. I always wanted to buy it but I think it’s really underrated gadget.
