Vektra have been improving their product over the years, and this is a better build than the first insulated kettle I got off them several years ago. Plus points are the wider range of temperatures you can select: and now I have run this item for a few weeks since purchase I can say that it is a super good insulated kettle - the water is usefully hot for hours afterwards. I am not going to downgrade this to 4* for the next comment, either, as that feels an unfair rating. My original kettle had a number to show how much liquid was inside the kettle. I miss that feature. Those of you who have solar panels will know how to exploit the fact that this kettle is NOT 3kW: and by being under 2kW power it is more effective for those people (I am one btw). Buy it, its probably good for your mental health.

Brilliant kettle, but unfortunately it quickly builds up limescale which appears around the spout and the lid, havent had it a year yet.

Work very well, with no need to keep boiling - saving money on electric

Amazing, just converted a Mercedes sprinter into a camper and works a treat with been lower power than your normal kettles plus the keep warm extra works a treat only have to boil the kettle once and keeps warm so you can have a coffee up to a few hours later without boiling it.

Excellent kettle, boils quietly and keeps the water hot for ages.
