Best ever salt grinder! Why? Because it is so easy to pull the top off & load it up with Malden (or the like) salt crystals. This stays in the dining room along with my husband's electric pepper grinder. He loves his stainless steel, 'manly man's grinder'. I mention this bcs the white wood Menahan salt grinder goes perfectly well with his stainless steel number. No need for matchy-matchy. Thanks!

Relatively small capacity though given the size, otherwsie, a good design, quality grinding mechanisma and very nicely produced.

Love it! Definitely worth spending the extra £’s ,the quality and feel is fab grinds the peppers with ease. The best thing is you can choose the coarseness of grain of the pepper.
