Bourgogne Cast Iron Round Casserole

Ours is the Matt blue colour which I chose as it matches my kitchen. I needed this extra large casserole dish to use as a Dutch oven. It’s only had sourdough bread baking done in it. I’m astonished at how it’s marked on the outside! These marks cannot be removed by either my excellent dishwasher or hand scrubbing with a scourer. It now looks unsightly and was supposed to be a counter top item to keep the bread in well as bake it. I have two Lecruset casseroles that look better than this one after twenty years use. I think it’s the Matt finish that’s the problem.

Good, heavy pan. Heat distributed quickly enough. However, food got burnt easily (porridge)

this is the best, would recommend to anyone- it's a beauty and cooks superbly and cleans easily too-still looks brand new
