Portmeirion, Botanic Garden - Placemats (Set of 4)

These placemats were a Christmas gift. After only a few weeks of use, two of the four placemats show visible water stains on the surface just from daily use. I wiped with a damp sponge after each use. The stains really destroy the look of the floral design.

I was expecting quality from the Portmerion brand. However, the placemats are disappointing. Edges are either warped or the glued portions are not done well. The saving grace is WayFair is responsive to the issue and immediately sent out a replacement. Conclusion: inferior products from a brand name; but superior customer service from WayFair.
