I want to start by saying the bed frame looks absolutely stunning now that it’s built—definitely a beautiful addition to our bedroom. However, getting to that point was an ordeal I wouldn't wish on anyone. Having built at least half a dozen bed frames in the past, this one was by far the most difficult. For starters, the bolts and screws came mixed together in one bag, requiring us to manually sort everything. While that was an inconvenience, I could overlook it. The real problems started with the poor alignment of the holes. Two bolts took my husband 20 minutes each to screw in, and the provided Allen key was made of such soft metal that it didn’t last through the build. Thankfully, we had a sturdier set of our own. The legs weren’t pre-attached, and there were no pre-drilled holes to attach them. We had to figure out how to lift the already heavy assembled frame and balance it on various objects to attach the legs—a design flaw that added unnecessary difficulty. The screws for the legs were incredibly small, leaving me concerned about their durability over time. As if that wasn’t enough, the slats are held in place by flimsy plastic connectors, several of which broke during assembly. Worse, the design doesn’t allow the slats to be easily removed and reassembled. If we ever move the bed to another room or house, we’ll need to buy replacement connectors. In total, it took my husband and me over three hours—and quite a bit of frustration—to get this bed frame built. While it looks fantastic now, the assembly process was exhausting and poorly thought out. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t purchase this bed frame again despite its lovely appearance.
