The light is now up on the ceiling, it looks good and gives out sufficient bright light to light the whole bedroom. My gripe is with the fitting of the light to the ceiling which a previous review described as "fiddly". I found it extremely difficult due to the depth of the fixing box, the closeness of one of the fixing holes to the entry point for the wiring and the length of the screws provided. It's difficult to get a hand into the box to hold a screw in place, use a screwdriver and hold the light in place all at once. I eventually overcame the problem by replacing the screws with new ones that were twice as long which made all the difference. The instructions suggest two people to install the light but that isn't always possible, long screws will help. Very pleased with the final result.
