Adaline Desk Organiser

This desk organiser is similar in style to the decor that would have been found in the Captains' cabins of 19th-century sailing ships, which were designed as havens for concentration on the vital matters of navigation and meteorology. In contrast to the spartan, cramped conditions experienced by the crew, these cabins were fitted out in beautifully finished mahogany or camphor wood. Inspired by the smaller pieces such as writing desks and chart cases, this has been made from solid (not plywood) polished Sheesham wood with chunky brass corners and other fittings. Has one compartment for A5 portrait and three smaller for envelopes, pens, pencils etc. Also has drawer beneath. Overall measurement 8x6x5". Has an engraving plate for personalisation of up to four initials (£8).
