Planter Steel

Lovely modern planters that rusted perfectly within a week of putting them together. It was a manageable one person job, but went so much faster with a helper. They have seams that will allow drainage, and are a bit wobbly so we use a plastic planter insert.

False Advertising! This is not a set of 2 as shown- Buyer Beware!!! When trying to resolve order no one understood the shown offer-set of 2.

As expected. Assembly was not too hard. I did run a bead of clear silicone sealant along the inside joint of each section since I don't want water running out of those seams. I also sprayed a clear coat of rustoleum sealer on the inside to hopefully help the container last longer. I'm letting the outside rust naturally since we live near the coast it shouldn't take long for them to match my other Corten steel planters that are more heavy duty but costlier.

I was concerned when they arrived because they were not rusty looking. They looked like stainless steel in color. But I washed them with soap and water and then every day for a week several times a day I sprayed them with salt water. They rusted very quickly. I’m going to order some more.

I absolutely love these planters. They were delivered very quickly. They are the perfect size for my small front porch. I had no trouble putting them together and I'm an old woman. They are already starting to rust after only a couple of weeks and look great. Highly recommend.
