Magdalen Upholstered Ottoman Storage Bed

Just what we needed. An easy to assemble sturdy feeling double bed, nice design and loads of storage! Highly recommended!

Beyond happy with my purchase. Really great quality bed for an affordable price! Managed to put it all up myself (single woman doing it for herself), the best thing was that the bed came with Allan keys and a spanner so you don’t need any tools! Put it up in less than two hours. Very easy-to-follow instructions. The storage underneath the ottoman bed is insane, I’ve got loads of storage boxes under there so I can store all my bed linen, all of my summer season clothes and shoes now that the weather is turning, boxes of books, etc, etc. I’m delighted as I live in a small house and don’t have anywhere else to put this stuff. Keeps my house all tidy and uncluttered. And it’s so easy to pull up the bed to access any bits and pieces I need. I love the minimal style of the bed, it matches all of my other furniture, and it means it’ll go with pretty much any bed linen I buy. Took a couple of photos after putting it up - the first shows my two fur-children testing out the bed just after assembly, I think it passed their quality inspection! The second shows just some of the storage bags I’ve put under there! Also, the bed comes with a black zipper bottom base that you can attach to the bed so that your storage items sit on that rather than directly on the floor. I haven’t attached mine in case I want to hoover under the ottoman but it’s an option if you want to make sure your bed is like spider proof! Love it, very happy with my new bed :)

Amaizing superking size bed, excellent fit with my mattress, perfect high. Just loving it.

I’ve had this bed since October 2020, I assembled it on my own and don’t regret buying it as it is comfortable, practical and looks good. I had to screw back the middle metal bar once but otherwise it is quite sturdy. The only thing I am unhappy about is that the mattress I have bought from Wayfair as well is a 4'6, I'm sorry but the 4'6 Magdalen is a European double and would need a European double mattress, not a 4'6 mattress. Either recommend the European double mattress or amend the description of the Magdalen - in any case the Cool Blue Pocket Sprung 800 Mattress in 4'6 is too short for the "4'6" Magdalen bed. You can hide it with the duvet on top but the gap is obvious otherwise.

Purchased this bed for storage purposes underneath and looked good quality.fabric side panels have given away causing bulging effect all round.metal frame has started to bend in places to point of almost breaking in half.one part bending.so disappointed as will need to be replaced very soon .avoid buying .
