HOMCOM 44 Lb. Daily Production Cube Clear Ice Portable Ice Maker

This ice maker did not live up to its description or reviews. It’s not really value for money at the price I bought it for because right after I bought it they dropped the price by £15. Now that price would’ve been more value for money.

THIS IS AN ICE CUBE MAKER and not a snow cone maker. I've been looking for an ice machine that makes solid cubes and not just the bullet ones. Finally found this one and it works perfectly. Takes a while longer to make the cubes but they are solid and work much better in a nice Gin and Tonic. Totally recommend it if you find the small bullet ice cubes melt too fast.

I had a bullet ice machine which served me well for at least three years. This is on another level. The range of ice cube sizes is great. The only downside is that you have to break up the ice because it stays together when ejected. If you go for the more solid clear ice then it is harder to break it up. I keep it quite low so it’s easier but have ordered an ice bucket and ice pick to complement it. Performance wise, it churns away happily and I’m sure it could exceed the stated 25kg a day if conditions were perfect. Regarding the ice staying together, the very nature of the way it’s made, it can’t be helped

Poorly made. My first one turned up faulty out of the box. Wayfair did an amazing job at replacing it fast but the second one has blown a motor after only a week or use. The fact it produces full cubes instead of bullets and has a larger wayer capacity is a win but it seems the workmanship and quality of the internals is lacking. Mine now makes a loud noise and turns itself off during use.
