Dahlke Pet Jogger Stroller Carrier

This came packaged in sooooo many pieces! I was not anticipating so much assembly. The main frame for this stroller arrived bent and unable to couple. Wayfair is sending parts to replace but I havent received them yet. Ill update once I do.

This dog stroller is very sturdy and good quality. I have 2 Shih Tzu one is 13 and 3 and It’s big enough for both of them to be in. I like that it has the 2 open areas and that it is screen so they won’t like closed in. It’s light weight easy to pick up.

I really wanted to love this pet stroller, but there are two significant issues which prevent me from recommending this product. The first is the difficulty with assembly. I had a really hard time with the metal push in tabs on the stroller base. The tabs would push in, but would not pop back out of the pole to hold the base intact. I attempted assembly of this piece no less than 20 times which was extremely frustrating. There was also another base assembly part which did not fit but I was able to bend the metal in order to connect the pieces. The other aspect of this stroller I was disappointed with is that the description states the stroller is collapsible. I guess, technically, it is, but only when you disassemble the entire stroller. That’s not a convenient option for me, nor do I want a pet stroller as a permanent fixture by my door. I would recommend the manufacturer address these two issues to improve this item.

I ordered this 2 in 1 dog strollercar seat for our 7 month old Bichon Frisée, Beau. He’s 10 lbs. and doesn’t walk very far. I never thought we would use a dog stroller until our daughter-in-law got one for their little French Bulldog Bruin. They use their stroller as a portable playpen to bring Bruin to baseball games, restaurants, work and walks. We are retired and travel in our RV several months during the year. It’s perfect for bringing Beau for walking around the RV resorts, to restaurants, shopping etc… and he loves it! The stroller has some great design features and is very light weight and easy to use. The price is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality. I highly recommend this portable playpen.

I like it and most importantly my cats will get into it. It’s fairly easy to put together, one person maybe 15 minutes. It goes easily from grass to sidewalk or vice versa. It has plenty of room for a 13 pound cat.
