Parksley Cantilever Parasol with Crank Lift

At the time we were pleased with the large parasol although it was a bit wobbly in a slight wind. However, after only just 3 years, the very top of the parasol has now decided to 'pop off', and hence the whole thing collapses! Have to get a professional in to sort it out but it still persists and of course, it is now out of guarantee!! What a surprise, nobody wants to know.

I purchased the parasol on the 28/7/2022 because they gave me a delivery date of 29/07/2022 and I was having a family gathering on 30/07/2022. Late on the 29/07/2022 I had not received a delivery, so checked the order confirmation and it stated that the delivery was estimated for 12/08/2022 which was nearly two weeks later. I sent two messages to Wayfair but no reply. This was very disappointing as it would not be their for the party. I checked the DPD APP and it stated that they had received the order details from Wayfair on the 28/07/2022 but they did not receive the order from Wayfair. On the following Monday I received notification from DPD saying they were due to receive the order from Wayfair today and it would be delivered to me on the 3/8/2022, which it was. When I assembled it they’re were faults with the holes in the frame which the height adjustment guide locked into, so I had to drill the burrs out with my drill. I sent a third message to Wayfair explaining the problems with the delivery and faults but was told it was not company policy to compensate for mistakes made. Make sure you check delivery dates before ordering. I spent nearly £375.00 on this item and expected a better service from a company of this size....... be careful
