Drill / Screw Shower Caddy

Sadly not one of our best purchases, despite it seeming to be a good idea, but after a week or so we didnt like the long pole in the corner and the worst problem was the unstable trays all wobble so when bottles of "lotions and potions" were stood on the trays they easily fell over, now changed for a pair of robust fixed stainless corner trays which have definitely met with our approval.

All other shower candy’s I have had do not measure up to this one, easy to fit looks good and makes my shower look new

Because my shower caddy was rusting I was looking for something better. Ordered my shower caddy early Friday morning. About three days delivery. Was pleased when it arrived next morning. Being an Engineer I use Stainless Steel and we often check material with a magnet , the stainless we use is NOT magnetic. This caddy is NOT magnetic so I believe it should NOT rust. After fitting together, one of the tubes required cutting ,mine was cut about 150mm short of the roof. This required a hacksaw with fine teeth. Do not forget to clean of the sawn edge with a file. This done I took the view that, fitted as shown, water could find its way into the lower tube, with the upper tube fitting inside the lower one. So I took the foot off the bottom tube and fitted it to the cut end, This then became the bottom tube and the second one then fits outside and so should not let water in. Third tube is then fitted and a plastic fitting for the spring to sit on is fitted here at the top. The bottom tube fitted at the top, over the plastic fitting and the end of the third tube. Drop the spring in and fit the telescopic part. Any spare plastic parts could be placed inside joints two and three or inside any of the lower tubes. All is good. Shelves could be fitted at the joints for a bit more strength, but may not be at a useable position. Only thing I would wish for, is another wire around the trays as the gap is about 50mm and quite large for smaller items. But Very Pleased over all and speedy delivery.
