Larissa Metal Sliding Door

I bought a door (Larissa Metal Sliding Door) and a rail (Compas Sliding Single Door Barn Door Hardware Kit) from Wayfair after being advised by a customer service representative. I contacted customer support because I wanted to make sure that the rail matched the door installation requirements. To lock in the price for a few days, the representative sent me a quote. I used that quote to order. When the door was to be installed by a carpenter, it was obvious that the rail was not suitable for the door. It would need to be altered to complete the installation. Which means a cost increase out of my pocket plus installation delay. I contacted Wayfair customer support and the agent who replied to my call said that there was no evidence of me calling or talking with anyone at Wayfair to place the order and that they could not help me beyond uninstalling the rail and door and returning it, which did not make sense as the door was assembled (a door that is over 300£ and needs you to assemble it) and the rail half installed. It is my disappointment that I was wrongly advised and later treated as if I made up everything. I will avoid any future purchases at Wayfair.co.uk

At this price I was expecting to take delivery of a glass door. Instead I have a DIY job which I wasn't expecting at all. I don't recall reading anything that said will take delivery of glass panels and a box of bits to make a frame out of? I get the door hanging bit and don't have a problem with that but at several hundred pounds i expected to take delivery of a door

the door is really beautiful, the only thing is really very heavy and not good for drywall

Excellent build quality easy to assemble but needs 2 to lift. Would recommend
