About This Product

The Harbour Housewares collection of Wooden Toilet Seats offers a quick and convenient way to freshen up the look of your bathroom. Each seat has been crafted from MDF to provide a sturdy and comfortable product ideally suited to the daily demands of any modern home. The use of natural wood in preference to plastic or resin means a higher resistance to changes in temperature - something certainly worth considering when it comes to the colder months! Our seats have also been fitted with a soft close function, designed to ensure they lower gently onto the bowl. Not only does this eliminate the unpleasant sound of clattering toilet seats (parents rejoice!), but it also means your seat will last longer without the risk of cracking or chipping from repeated impact. Available in a choice of colors, the lids of these seats feature a grooved design that brings a rich modern character to any interior. Installation is easy, with all necessary fixtures and fittings provided in the box.

Ok, but far from great. No problem with service from Wayfair or couriers - item dispatched and delivered quickly. Unfortunately, the seat shows signs of paint wear (on lid edge) straight out of the box, and neither the seat or lid are correctly aligned (poor assembly process by looks of it), meaning everything sits slightly askew. It's not enough to justify hassle of returning, and the review takes into consideration comparatively low price of item. If you're not looking for perfection, then item is fine; easy to install and does the job it's designed for.

I saw bad reviews but hoped it would arrive undamaged, unfortunately as soon as I opened it looked like this. As it is faulty I will be returning and not re ordering, what a shame. Should really be removed and not sold anymore as not fit for purpose.

We had one delivered and it’s immediately broke as we tried to fit it. It was also scratched. It’s clearly poor poor quality made of cheap MDF. We complained and got sent a second one. Guess what! The second we tried to close the toilet seat this happened! It also won’t tighten and so slides around when you try to sit on it. Awful design. Cheap. Do not buy.
