Dejaun Soft Close Elongated Standard Toilet Seat

The seat was fitted in late May and all seemed well. I went to clean the toilet this week and when I as lifting the seat the mechanism broke for absolutely no reason. This seat is a total disappointment and now I’m having to purchase a new one!!!! It’s about buying a product that you want and expect to do the job it was purchased for. You easily forget that the mechanism is broken followed by a loud bang!!!!
