When I purchased this clock, over 2 years ago I was delighted. Unfortunately, it has faded drastically and the front has peeled off the back. The clock is now unusable. I contacted customer service, they informed me that as it was out of the guarantee period they were unable to help. I explained that I would expect an item to lady longer than 2 years, they advised there was nothing they could do and weren’t even interested in viewing the photos. The traditional regulator is walnut with decorative glass and mechanical movement.

I purchased this clock to replace a similar one which belonged to my mother and it was about 100 year old but the main spring went. I am happy to say that this clock functions perfectly, in a similar manner to the old one, and was very easy to calibrate against the radio controlled one I have. The clock is chain driven and consists of a weight and swinging pendulum. This clock stands out on any wall whether it's in the hallway, livng room and in the office.

I bought this clock as a nice feature for the room. Well made and solid. It has a nice tick to it and every hour there is a single ding on the bell which for me is better than a 2 minute symphony that some have.
