Station clocks must be clear, impressive, and keep good time. This clock is oversized at 50cm in diameter and sits in a black gloss barrel case, 8cm is deep. The dial is taken from an original railway clock we found in Wimbledon.

This wooden wall clock is the perfect focal point for your kitchen or conservatory.

When I purchased this clock, over 2 years ago I was delighted. Unfortunately, it has faded drastically and the front has peeled off the back. The clock is now unusable. I contacted customer service, they informed me that as it was out of the guarantee period they were unable to help. I explained that I would expect an item to lady longer than 2 years, they advised there was nothing they could do and weren’t even interested in viewing the photos. This was a clock that was golden brown in colour. VERY disappointing customer service.. Deboorah. Billingham, GB. Wed Dec 11 2024

This French vineyard clock is a kitchen favourite

The clock is absolutely beautiful. I love the french style and shabby chic look and the colours are beautiful.. Christine Bennett. Southampton. Thu Jan 16 2025

This clock is the perfect focal point for your kitchen, conservatory or garden patio.

Pretty good. Sorry about the dark photo. The bigger clock is “the real deal”……..a 1951 version in perfect condition. Obviously much larger, and it is very cool and special, but the modern one catches a fair degree of the original coolness. While the modern one is branded as Smiths, the original is branded as Smith, but the two seemed to be pretty much interchangeable. The tail of the red second hand is too long, but only noticeable alongside the original. The only thing that lets it down for me is that the face is just too white (again, compared to the beautiful ageing of the original face). Being so much smaller means that it will never have the gravitas of the original, but again, you know the size when you buy it, so no surprises there. The modern clock’s (few) shortcomings are only evident when set side by side with an original, and that’s an unfair battle. On its own, this little homage clock is very nice indeed.. Anonymous. The Radio Controlled Wall Clock is a simple timepiece synchronized with the radio frequency transmitter in the UK time zone. Encased in a circular plastic frame, this wall clock is covered with high-quality glass for optimum protection. The black Arabic numerals on the white dial give a high contrast whilst facilitating easy readability. Perfect for the home or office, the Radio Controlled Wall Clock has hassle-free installation.

I bought this clock on sale, so not full price. All modern wall clocks seem to have a large face with a small battery operated, plastic cog mechanism, encased in plastic shell behind. This clock is no different. Ultimately the cogs wear out but should hopefully last a fair few years. The clock face on mine was actually white, unlike pictures shown by some other reviewers where the face is slightly yellow. The clock bezel is a shiny chrome which does attract finger print marks when handled, but can be wiped clean. As other reviewers have stated, the clock is slightly smaller than the quoted 36cm diameter. There were no paper instructions as such, but inserting a battery and leaving the clock near a window for 15 minutes allowed it to correctly set the time using the long wave radio signal. Overall this is a lovely clock, with a clear, clean display, and would make a statement in most rooms. Time will tell how well it lasts, but the 2 year guarantee included with my clock is reassuring.. Spike. Harpenden. Fri Nov 21 2025

It’s beautiful clock from distance but close look very cheap. It’s printed on board - going to keep just for now but definitely not long term clock. Positive side - it’s made in the UK so at least we support in country business.. Roksana. Liverpool. Mon Dec 19 2022

It’s a good solid and very attractive clock, exactly the size I wanted. One AA Battery and full instructions on changing the time, ( if only I’d had instructions like this with my previous lovely similar clock when the clocks went forward perhaps the hands wouldn’t have fallen off). I’ve only just put it up on wall, so can’t comment on its longevity, but I’m very happy with quality and appearance.. Susie. Hatfield Peverel Chelmsford, GB. Fri Apr 10 2026
