Roger Lascelles Clocks Oversized Wall Clocks

White open-faced 50cm wooden wall clock, manufactured in the UK, with brass hands and German High Torque movement. The dial design has been styled from the original Smiths wall and mantel clocks and has all been reworked to make impressive timepieces.

The analogue display of this timepiece has Roman numerals, which account for effortless readability. Mounting of the Antique London Wall Clock is hassle-free, and requires a sturdy nail or hook to stay in place.

This wooden wall clock is the perfect focal point for your kitchen or conservatory.

When I purchased this clock, over 2 years ago I was delighted. Unfortunately, it has faded drastically and the front has peeled off the back. The clock is now unusable. I contacted customer service, they informed me that as it was out of the guarantee period they were unable to help. I explained that I would expect an item to lady longer than 2 years, they advised there was nothing they could do and weren’t even interested in viewing the photos. This was a clock that was golden brown in colour. VERY disappointing customer service.. Deboorah. Billingham, GB. Wed Dec 11 2024

It’s beautiful clock from distance but close look very cheap. It’s printed on board - going to keep just for now but definitely not long term clock. Positive side - it’s made in the UK so at least we support in country business.. Roksana. Liverpool. Mon Dec 19 2022

The black Arabic numerals on the white dial give a high contrast whilst facilitating easy readability. Perfect for the home or office, the Radio Controlled Wall Clock has hassle-free installation.

I bought this clock on sale, so not full price. All modern wall clocks seem to have a large face with a small battery operated, plastic cog mechanism, encased in plastic shell behind. This clock is no different. Ultimately the cogs wear out but should hopefully last a fair few years. The clock face on mine was actually white, unlike pictures shown by some other reviewers where the face is slightly yellow. The clock bezel is a shiny chrome which does attract finger print marks when handled, but can be wiped clean. As other reviewers have stated, the clock is slightly smaller than the quoted 36cm diameter. There were no paper instructions as such, but inserting a battery and leaving the clock near a window for 15 minutes allowed it to correctly set the time using the long wave radio signal. Overall this is a lovely clock, with a clear, clean display, and would make a statement in most rooms. Time will tell how well it lasts, but the 2 year guarantee included with my clock is reassuring.. Spike. Harpenden. Fri Nov 21 2025

Large (496mm) old Swiss clockmakers's dial, non pendulum. The parchment colour of the dial gives this clock its realistic antique feel.

It’s a good solid and very attractive clock, exactly the size I wanted. One AA Battery and full instructions on changing the time, ( if only I’d had instructions like this with my previous lovely similar clock when the clocks went forward perhaps the hands wouldn’t have fallen off). I’ve only just put it up on wall, so can’t comment on its longevity, but I’m very happy with quality and appearance.. Susie. Hatfield Peverel Chelmsford, GB. Fri Apr 10 2026
