I am baffled as to how there are reviews up to a 5. The quality of the wood is sub-par, with a light weight. However, I do appreciate the design, but even with its pattern, the whole construction does not live up to its price tag.

Excellent quality and more roomy inside than I anticipated. I actually use one piece to a bookend and another piece on my lamp stand to hold my pens. Absolutely love.
