Backing material is flimsy and seems to be muslin. Out of the two pairs we bought 10% of the header tape on one was not stitched. Look very nice overall hanging from the top row on header, but too soft to hang on bottom row. Being machine washable is their main merit, as used for our holiday cottage. Excellent colour and iron easy. Ordering a third pair as spares.
