Fitzwilliam Pencil Pleat Room Darkening Curtains (Set of 2)

These curtains, despite being called "Room Darkening" do not block any light at all. I already had some blinds and decided to add curtains to fully darken the room when I sleep. Well, the room is just as bright with the curtains and just as much light shines through as before. The pattern is nice enough, but hard to see when light is beaming through it. I can't return them, hanging them up means the "rope has been pulled" which invalidates the return. I will have to waste my own time and energy adding a blackout lining to these.

I absolutely love these curtains.... Easy to hang and great design against a plain wall.

Bought for my parents' redecorated living room. Lighter than expected and not much darkening effect, but lovely pattern. They are pleased.
